Berries – A Taste of Maine

Are you thinking about summer, the smell of freshly cut grass, and the taste of fresh picked berries? Now is the time to think about planting your own berry patch. On Tuesday morning come hear Dr. David Handley, a professor of horticulture at UMaine, talking about growing blueberries and raspberries. He will provide information on delicious and easy to grow varieties for your own berry patch. The talk is sponsored by the Camden Garden Club and is open and free to all. Join the CGC on Tuesday, February 28, at the Camden Public Library in the Picker Room. Coffee, goodies, and conversation at 10:00, followed by Dr. Handley’s talk at 10:30.
