Thank You

The days are warm and the evenings are crisp.  The Rudbeckia are blooming and our vegetable gardens are full of tomatoes, squash and corn.  August in Maine is beautiful.  Camden and the mid-coast are a blaze with color.  The Club’s plantings around the town are in full glory.  The flower baskets on the lamp posts downtown are full and the flower boxes on the bridge could not be more beautiful.  If you are in the area, take a look at these examples of community pride.  Every year since 1925, the Garden Club has planted and maintained the lamp-post baskets.

Our annual House and Garden Tour in July, provides the  funds these projects and many other endeavors throughout the year.  Next year the tour will be held on Thursday, July 18, 2013.  As a club, we believe in supporting our local businesses and make every attempt to buy locally.  We want to thank all of our business supporters.  We believe in our community and hope you will  shop and visit the businesses who help and support the works of the Garden Club.
