Camden Garden Club’s Winter Horticulture Series Returns


001 Robert Cochran 002 Timbercliff TruckCamden Garden Club’s Winter Horticulture Series returns on Tuesday, January 26, 2016. This very popular program consists of one topic each Tuesday, January 26 through February 23, all beginning at 10 a.m. in the Picker Room of Camden Public Library. The series is free and open to the public.

The featured speaker for the first talk will be Bob Cochran, Maine State Licensed Arborist and owner of Timbercliff Tree Service. Mr. Cochran began climbing trees as a child and became a licensed arborist in Maine while in his twenties. He moved to the Camden area in 2001 and began his career under the tutelage of Tom Jackson of Jackson Landscape Services. He rose to General Manager of Northeast Tree Service before leaving to start Timbercliff in 2014.

Timbercliff Tree Service provides property owners with comprehensive tree and shrub care and specializes in difficult, challenging tree pruning and removal. Robert Cochran believes in taking a solution-oriented approach to tree care and enjoys working collaboratively with the property owners he and his company serve. His talk will encompass the craft of the arborist and he will suggest ways in which property owners can care for their trees and advise them on potential problems that they may encounter.
